yea im just wondering if the pads could be replaced if they get durty/stained or the rubber gets chipped (things like that). If so how much does it cost on average, or could you buy them and replace them yourself?

well yeah, but it's not like all 16 pads would mess up at the same time. so say you have 3 crappy pads thats 48, 113 if they replace them. but if your still under warranty i believe it's free.

when you send your warranty card in, you also need to send proof of purchase, so wheneve you do send it in they are going to go date of purchase not from the time you sent it in.

I dont know about the 1000 but i was pretty sure with 2000xl any way that it was $16 for the set there all stuck together like the keypad on a mobile phone when you take the cover off. It is really simple to do it your self (with the 2000xl) there is very little that can go wrong once your careful.

"I dont know about the 1000.. "

Please stop guessing. The MCP2000XL and MPC1000 are not related in this manner. Stuff like this will only confuse people that are trying to help themselves with the SEARCH feature.

actually the 1k pads are individually mounted to the case, so they are sold individually.....
youre gonna confuse people.....
