Who got their HDM-10 already?

I ordered on friday, they said it would ship monday, and now its thurs and no HDM. Anybody get one already??

Anyone get any sort of receipt, email, or any other type of confirmation for their order?

I was told my card wouldn't be charged until the kit shipped. I just checked and "AKAI PROFESSIONALS LLC" (in Rhode Island) charged my card $34.94 on Nov 25th, but haven't received anything yet.

How do I check up on this? Can we get tracking numbers somehow? I'm not too worried about this, but it would be nice to know.

call Akai /EXT:301 and ask for a Tracking number,then you can locate you
product.

there is no official confirmation of order. if you just got charged today, you will be ablt to obtain a tracking number within 24hrs by calling akai (the same number you used when you ordered it) at that time also, you will be able to obtain an order number.

This hard drive will not work with out the software right? And people that recieved their kit's did not get any software with it, right?

DREW please don't take this as an attack on you but this was mentioned in several threads before. From what akai stated, with OS 1.07 the hard drive will work but the 1k will only see 2gb after you format the drive. (you have to format the hard drive just like you format the CF card.... in the mpc) when the new OS comes and you put it in, the 1k will see the full drive. (no need to reformat, you will not lose anything)

no software came with the kit.

You can use a Hd with the old (current) OS, but it will only see it as a 2 gb drive, no matter what the size

I am sorry for being slow but I was being lazy and I could not remeber and did not want to search for previous threads, sorry again folks.....
