wax, this is directed to you, or anyone else (if bluebox is open source)

is there any way you could implement a method of COMBINING pgms? like dropping a second pgm into the first?

say i have 2 pgms, both of which have samples all over pad bank A but no others. i want to join these two together with one click rather than repeatedly dragging and dropping. this way i could match up premade drumkits that i think would go well together with the song in question.

i'd like for the 2nd pgm to be able to be dropped into pad bank b, and so on - catch my drift?

i'd drop $50 into your paypal if you made this happen

what you're talking about is you want a way to merge multiple pgms into one?

i'm working with wax for the new update to blue box to be dropped when the OSv2.0 is dropped.

reaaaaaallly...that's BIG news.

bluebox is incredible but could be even better.

yeah that's what i'm talking about sparq - most definitely. wax, i'm serious man when the new bluebox is dropped, no joke you will be seeing half a benjamin coming your way from me.

This is a good idea, which I will work on about implementing in an update to come. There will be an update which will support the new OS 2.0 features as well, so keep your eyes peeled.

oh man, we talkin modifications?
what I really think would benefit bluebox would be like a file explorer sub-window with drag and drop to the pads (nothing fancy, just like the older "mpc1000" prog has) and an alternative pad grid where one could see all 64 pads at once, for instance a little 8x8 (4+4 by 4+4) grid with all four banks on a square, allowing to drag and drop sounds, as well as make complex selections (like with the ctrl key) so one could drag and drop pads.
It would still require a button for switching among layers, just like bluebox already has (an all-layers option would also come handy when moving and coping around)
This kind of interface would make it soooo easy browsing for sounds, dragging them to pads, coping or moving them around, etc.
Now that would be worth paying for (actually THIS is already well worth it, keep up the good work lads ;))

Thats a great Idea pedroagb :o
Yo I'll give a donation regardless to support my peeps but that idea is equally as dope as the first. You all should look into both ideas being implemented in the next version of both programs. If it helps us with the creative process like that im with it

A nice quick little file browser built in would be great. Something that lets you hear samples really quickly without a seperate app. Excellent program.

Thanks,
Luke

If you coud do what pedroagb says with like an explorer type style drag and drop, that would be the cat's a$$ - You'd have 50 bones from me in your pay pal acount 4 real..Or even charge a fee for the program, i'd pay for it
PAYCE!

while on topic... how about a built in sample editor with a VSTplugin engine for Bluebox?
