Yeah bro! Check it...
jahrome wrote:Its been just over 2 months since the release of the MPC 2500. Currently, it is operating on OS 1.00b. Although it peforms well for the most part, there are some issues that need to be addressed quickly with an OS update, mainly the note-off 'bug' with MIDI OUTS C and D. This feature need to have top priority.

Now aint that some $hit?

Two of the MIDI OUTs have issues with not transmitting note off to sound modules/keyboards. Instruments with short decay will trigger OK..but anything more than that is unusable. You can use them for sending time code to other devices..but that's about it.

It suks..and Akai has been aware of this for at least 2 months (maybe longer).

I got mine for $1689

just go to the 2500 and click the match price icon and follow the directions

Sounds like a pretty good deal, but if AMS price matched I thought Alto Music was cheaper then $1689

Alto music quoted me a price of $1689, dude might have been lying but he said they weren't selling them for $1650 anymore because so many people are buying them and its still way below mkt price

I was only giving that price because some people may want to do payments, interest free by the way

Alto Music got it to my front door in Oklahoma for $1612.27 total. Even at just under $1700 is a great price.

October 24..a day before my B-Day...

They gave it to me for $1589.99 (including taxes) plus 22.28 to ship it to me via Fed Ex..for a total of $1612.27. This was just a little more than what I was getting them sent to me from Japan..but was worth it because I didn't have to put my Fam through changes to get these MPCs shipped from Japan. Once Alto started moving them for that price..I quit selling them on eBay...man..I can't wait until the MPC that replaces the MPC 4000 drops :D
