jahrome wrote:Its been just over 2 months since the release of the MPC 2500. Currently, it is operating on OS 1.00b. Although it peforms well for the most part, there are some issues that need to be addressed quickly with an OS update, mainly the note-off 'bug' with MIDI OUTS C and D. This feature need to have top priority.

I got mine for $1689
just go to the 2500 and click the match price icon and follow the directions

jahrome wrote:Two of the MIDI OUTs have issues with not transmitting note off to sound modules/keyboards. Instruments with short decay will trigger OK..but anything more than that is unusable. You can use them for sending time code to other devices..but that's about it.
It suks..and Akai has been aware of this for at least 2 months (maybe longer).

Sounds like a pretty good deal, but if AMS price matched I thought Alto Music was cheaper then $1689
jahrome wrote:Alto Music got it to my front door in Oklahoma for $1620 total. Even at just under $1700 is a great price.
