Yes i was aware of the compatability claims by akai before i bought the 2500 yet loading .PGM files gets you a "WRONG FILE" message. The 2500's inability to load .ALL files is a slap in the face to loyal akai fans.
I was forced to spend more money with akai to retrofit my 2000XL with a CF reader in order for me to load data into the 2000XL via the SCSI port & then save to CF to then eject the card & insert into the 2500.
I have (no lie) something like 400+ songs composed on the 2000XL i now need to modify for use on the 2500. What fvckin' drama yall. To all of you cats out there with a similar situation PLEASE PLEASE call akai tech support & let them know its straight up bvllsh!t. If anything drop 'em an email. Power in numbers mates.
They gotta do somethin' about it ASAP. Get that OS up!
