chopping with sp 505 sequencing with mpc1000

is it possible to chop with the sp 505 and send the samples to the mpc1000 to sequence and add drums to?

you can record the main outs of the sp 505 into the recordi nputs of the 1000?

or if you wanna get fancy you can use one of them midi cables to hook the 1000 as the master and the 505 as the slave. dont ask me how i just know its possible.. geah

thanks for the advice guys, my thinking was that it might of been easier to chop on the 505 and send to 1000...kinda how people use there ars with there mpc.....that just the newbie in me talkin though. thanks for lookin out though.

no way, trust me. First you need a computer to transfer between them both and its a hell of alot easier to chop in the computer. Just whait for os 2 och chop manually =)

if you already choppin with the sp then do it....and if you dont like how some came out then change the link manually to fit the sample...the os aint comin out till probably end of this month...so for now use what you got and then midi it to the mpc if you want...i think too many people in here waitin on the new os and aint using what they already have to an advantage...the computer takes hella of a while to load samples anyways into the mpc...or if you chop with the sp - sample what you need into the mpc straight up. the mpc samples way better than the digital conversion of the computer
