Hi folks. New to the forum/new to the MPC.
I've been making drum sounds with my Voyager and sampling them directly into the 2500. However a problem arises when I try to playback my newly recorded samples. I start to hear a crackling out of the main outs across all programs & sequences. It honestly sounds like a sample rate mismatch. Random pops and clicks. If I save the samples and restart the machine, the pops are gone.
I'm not new to audio. This is not an issue of distorting the samples when recording by having the input be set too high. The only cables connected to the 2500 are two for the main outs and two for the record in.
So, I'm hoping you guys can tell me I'm an idiot and to change this or that setting to fix this problem. Either that, or maybe the machine has issues.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
