You use the Trigger Finger to control your MPC1000? Jesus, the pads aren't that bad on the MPC1000 and the pads aren't that good on the Trigger...why?

yeah I bought my 1000 2nd hand and teh bottom left pad is almost totally dead...I already had a trigger finger so i plugged it in...turns out I now can play 2 Pad Banks at once :D [1 on teh MPC and 1 on the TF] I actually preffer the TF pads as they are lower profile, gum rubber and bigger [easier to play with two fingers at once fore + middle] the TF pads have a dry'er feel to them and softer corners which is good for ghost notes/velocity control...i had some videos up of these but they've expired...I'll see if I can dig em up again

I just sold my trigger finger...I needed a keyboard controller... I went with the MicroKontrol by Korg...since it still has 16 pads.

yeah thats lookin better..you know u can just go to a print shop and most of em do vinyl stickers up to A2 [I'm in Australia so could be different where you are? all colours including clear] you could dimension the face of the MPC then overlay on your MPC, that way you'd get all the letters exactly how ya want em, different fonts etc]
BTW v"inyl" is a bit vague what it is is basically a big clear sticker different countries etc may call it something else, basically you want a big clear sticker to lay over the top of your custom colour you did OR alternatively design a total layout on 1 big sticker, then you could change as often as you like?? dunno just thinkin aloud...I do CAD design at work here so if theres enough ppl interested I'll dimension my 1000 and drawing a template with tolerances..?...yeah work gets real busy hahahah....
