do you mean that the actual values in your programms have been changed after it was loaded by os 2.10 ?
or just it is the same values but sound at a slightly different volume with os2 ?

i am asking this, because i wonder if it would help to write on paper all the level values in my programms before i do the update (specially for layers).

thanks

i think they're exactly the same, but for some reason the levels have changed, i think it's hte mixer settings but not the program settings. not sure though.

ok thanks sam.

do you think the values in the mixer hace changed then?
mixer settings would be easy to set back (as i never used the mixer, they are almost all at 100%)

if anybody has more details, i will be very interested.

(i have all my liveset in my mpc. i am tempted to upgrade, but i might wait until right after my next gig, as all my live set is in the mpc.)

Man.. this is a huge fµckup in my opinion.. All of my beats are completely messed up. i noticed this with a snare sample on a beat, the actual volume changed by around 300% by one notch in the mixer, but only at one certain place.. what the hell is this.. i mean, i'm happy with the new features.. but will i offer all my made beats for those? i sure hope that akai comes with a 2.2 version where this is fixed.. i can't use this.

all my old levels are fine. i think it only effects those who use the mixer settings, not those who adjust volume by individual pad

I haven't really changed any of the values in the sessions.. i just has another "idea" of the levels, and it's not logical in any way..

I also recon that the "sound" has changed a bit... anyone?

hm, i dunno man. all my levels are the same, and everythign else is just the same

i dont think a software change can change up your sound

unless of course your master fx have been switched up somehow? check em and make sure they're both normal and/or turned off

i just updated my old blue mpc, and my old projects load, but the beat doesnt play even when i turn the vol all the way up, and also i have samples saved up on it and when i load the samples that i sampled pre-2.0 i can hear it in the trim page, but not when i load it to a program. ohh well i have my black one i aint going to put the new os on that one.
