i want to say THANK YOU and i want to apologize for being evasive at times and i hope you understood my stand point. i never meant for all of this to get so far out of control. what made me post all of this in the first place was everyone was speculating on what os 1.08 would provide and all the talks that the 1k could never have timestretching. you have to also believe that i was not akai's pawn and when they gave it to me, they had no idea that i was part of this forum. so i brought this to you all to share the news. 1 thing lead to another and it really got out of hand. it's been a long 3 months on here and i want to apologize for locking/deleting/editing posts but i had to (along with the other mods and tutor) try to bring some of the control back.

so although i appreciated all of your thanks and words but really, the THANKS goes out to all of you. i think some of us may have grown a little through all of this. so a big round of applause to all of you.

thanks akai.

please deeply consider a performance pad kit - i'm sure many of us would buy it and you'd make some serious loot.

think about it - release mpcs w/ standard pads, but create a "performance pad kit" for those who have dead pads/want to play live.

know what i'm saying?

peace

I wasn't one of those viewers as since downloading the new OS all I have been doin is makin beats ;)

Cant believe how good this update is, just when you thought you have un-earthed everything a new feature rears its beautiful head!!! Also my workflow is improved beyond my wildest dreams.

Just wanna say a great big thanks to AKAI for releasing the best product update on any electrical item I have ever owned.

They could have charged for this s*** and I wouldn't have batted an eyelid. To give it away for free just shows a whole lotta love from them...... so heres some back :) lol

Now I am off to make some more sweet music with my MPC........

Pentax recently dropped a V2 OS for my camera (*ist DS), and now Akai drop this in my lap... delay, timestretch, slicing... I've been away from the MPC for so long, that it's going to be like a new instrument, all over again.

AKAI, どうも有難う有り難うございました。 御馳走様でした!
