i locked the other thread because it is getting out of control.

This thread (at least for right now) should be where you put all of your problems, potential bugs and issues here. once the "Newness" of the new OS is worn off, this is where we can put things as stated above.

Please DO NOT repeat what was already mentioned in the other thread, as they will be deleted.

thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

edit: BEFORE POSTING IN THIS THREAD, PLEASE DO A SEARCH ON YOUR PROBLEM/ISSUE it is most likely it has already been brought up in the other thread. if you do not see it there, then please, by all means, post in here.

If your comment is of a general nature regarding the new os (ie, how to... or how do i...., start a new thread but before you do that, please search your manual.

i noticed that if you turn the decay up loads (80 - 99) on a sample (for example i use this to shorten drifitng and reverberant snare hits) you get this weird ass delay where it triggers itself but much quieter.. i checked i didnt have loop on or anything.. it still happens.. bit annoying to be honest..

yea, whats the deal with the quiet drums? i really dislike that

I noticed that some times when you play a sound another sound from the program on another pad is played afterwards some times just very low like a delay.

Then if you delete that sound from another pad that you hear in the background another sound from another pad is put behind your sound.

Very strange bug. I might upload a sound demo when it happens again.

Anyone had this problem?

Yeah Soyo , i have it too , just set the decay higher then 50 and you get the bug.
It's not playing any pads btw , i tried it with only 1 sample in memory and it played some random sample i didn't even load.
It's the same problem as terrorist.. posted.
I allready mentioned this bug on the now locked Joys and pains thread.
Greetz..

The "Dectect Tempo" suck ass. As the reference manual states on page 67

"Note : Depending on the sample, the DECTECT TEMPO may not be able to detect the the correct tempo" ?

Maybe its just me but i like my functions to work everytime all the time, that why i use HARDWARE. Its like saying Depending on the person that uses the MPC it may not turn on.

PS: it would be cool to assign the Q link faders when editing samples like on the XL.

it is more or less the same on every hardware / software whic has a detect tempo function.

0db is the loudest possible the mpc can be. try at -6db maybe.

There are changes in the way 2.1 defaults a program as opposed to 1.07. The default volume in 2.1 is 100, while in 1.07 it is 70. You might have to change the sample volume in all of your old programs.

My MPC1000 has always been set at -12dB. Try lowering your master level.

i've noticed a problem with 2.1

kids upgrade to it and bug out because they thing something is wrong, when actually they didn't know how to use their mpc to begin with and end up crying bug like wolf

ooh also actually there is one i could mention - DIRECTORY ERROR pops up every now and then when saving to my hd...
