Guitar Center out here in Diego say the balck mpc 1000 will be in some time later this week. They talkin $720 for the mpc 1000 and $1500 for the mpc 2500. I'm thinkin of join' the mpc fam' with a mpc 1000 when I get paid this Fri.

did yours come with os 2.0 or 2.1? and check to see if the hdm10 or the memory came with it.

early blk 1k's sold in japan a couple of weeks ago was shipped with the memory then they stopped. then was told that the blk 1ks shipped in the states are shipped with the hdm10

check this out and report back please.

Yeah I can't wait until fri. The mpc 1000 and my motif es will make a nice combo.

slider and volume/rec knobs are actually greyish on this one? that's...ehhh.. good...when are the wodden knobs commin?

So is the mpc bk coming out friday? I called guitar center and they said they havent hear anything.

no, the sliders are nice. its just those two big knobs that are uggggly
