when you transport the MPC take care about the Fader..It breaks away quite easily, man. had it repaired 2X already...
last time i asked the technician to cut it short, so it wont do that shyte anymore..
I already have a hard case. I'm just thinking about it bouncing around with airport workers etc.
I've heard on certain computers, you're supposed to keep a dummy floppy disk in the drive while transporting. Just wondering if the same would apply to a zip drive in a MPC.
I've never heard of that. I would probably ask Iomega Zip company just to verify that. I usually travel with two drives & cables, just in case one goes bad. Also I make an exact copy of the disks.
