Transporting the MPC

When the MPC is in transit, is it safer to have a Zip in the disk drive, or to keep the drive empty?

when you transport the MPC take care about the Fader..It breaks away quite easily, man. had it repaired 2X already...
last time i asked the technician to cut it short, so it wont do that shyte anymore..

Wouldnt hurt to buy a case for it as well.

I already have a hard case. I'm just thinking about it bouncing around with airport workers etc. :x

I've heard on certain computers, you're supposed to keep a dummy floppy disk in the drive while transporting. Just wondering if the same would apply to a zip drive in a MPC.

Heh, that used to be the case with the old 5.25 floppy drives.
