Does metronome click affect polyphony?

The click from the metronome - does it add up as another voice to the polyphony?

What an odd question. I can't imagine it would, but I have no real idea. But I can't imagine getting close to running out on polyphony on the mpc, and even if it does use up a voice, the only time you'd use it, you'd be adding a voice that cuts another anyway. Besides, if you've got even a basic beat going, you can use that for timing instead of the metronome.


On a tangent, has anyone used all of the voices, and had to economise to get everything going?

a few times ive ran out of voices. but no the click dosnt add as a voice
