Hey people, can we control the pitch on the mpc with the pitch wheel on our midi-synths now? Mine is broken so i cant try it out. (crappy m-audio)

The difficult thing with controlling the pitch with the q-link is that it does not spring back to its original position after you pitched something. Thats why it would be awesome to be able to use the pitch wheel.

been wondering how to make this work on the mpc1000 myself, i cant get it to register, but my 4k does it and every other sequencer i've used. there is a setting for pitchbend in the step edit menu, so it must work... maybe im not triggering it with my ozone? (damn portable rig)

From the MIDI Implementation Chart (page 107 in the manual) the 1k can transmit and receive pitch bend data. It works with my Oxygen 8.

I think the MPC only records the pitch bend for external synths. I've sequenced stuff from my Motif on the MPC and recorded pitch bends. But I don't think you can use it to control the pitch like the q-link on your MPC programs.
