no, i like pro tools because that's what's in 99% of major recording studios and i'm not just doing this music thing as a hobby. yes, i use Nuendo but with the OMF export feature, i can do all my sessions at home in nuendo and bring it to a pro tools setup with no problem.

i suggest anyone who is in this game to be a career to get to know pro tools. but if you're just a hobbiest, then it's not necessary.

back in december, he was talking about ableton live 5 and the trigger finger... then in january he mentioned something about getting ready to buy a 2500. since then, he's been missing in action. :?

More like, they should make a laptop, in the shape of an MPC! The screen would be a tilt up one like on the 2000xl but a tiny bit bigger...

Wait, why not just get a mpc? And a laptop too, no need to be so cost effective, we live in the USA anyways.

The best yet.

go to google.com and type in.

soundplant

This is a program you can load any sample you want onto any key of your computer there is little or no latency. the keys are as follows

oneshot, sustain, restart, loop, dont loop, layer sound (just like polyphony on the mpc) this is the closest thing ive seen to date. you can assign a seperate sound to every single key on your keyboard. you can even assign a whole song on to one keyboard. and are unlimited on how you want the sample to play. Lets say you have 2 soundcards one for playback and one for recording. that way you can multitrack everything one track at a time. This program is THE greatest. again check it out

keyword: soundplant
Oh yeah and it is absolutley free!
