copy sound from pad to another pad

how can i copy a sound off one pad to another??? seems such a simple operation, but i cant find the option anywhere...

it seems to just want to copy the sequence...

not "far left window". "far left coulumn", then press "window".

this is an incredibly powerful function, i use it constantly because i often make my drumkits from a combination of premade pgms of chopped breaks. this way i can get a variety of sounds from a variety of recordings that sound good together although the drums were recorded in different "rooms..." this is something a lot of people avoid, but you can kind of create your own room by picking and choosing differnet break hits...

Antonym, by doing it that way are you just using the same hit and tuning it differently??

if it needs tuning...if not, i leave it be.

thats great! its a pitty that it copies the pitch though... otherwise it would be great for cromatic synth pgms

Go to Program>Sample and you should be able to alter the pitch!

yeah, I know but its a hazzle changing the pitch back if I allready had a cromatic piano program for example
