Of course I would want any remaining bugs fixed first........
But, I would like to see Multiple MIDI channels per track. This is not an original idea. The MPC 3000 has the ability to have 2 MIDI channels per track. Akai's new MPD 24 has the ability to assign seperate MIDI channels per pad.
Combining these two features would be great:
I can see my MPC now.....Main Window: MIDI channel select: A, B, C, D, AB, CD, or ALL. Then...in the Program Menu/Note Select section...you hit a particular pad..the WINDOW key will light up..so you can select the MIDI channel and/or note for each pad.
This function will be extremely useful for triggering drum/percussion and other one-shot sounds from external MIDI sound modules. I can easily select different sounds from multiple programs (in the sound modules connected to MIDI Outs A-D) and create a new program within the MPC.....
