conclution

I have reached the conclution that I am just crap at sampling! and I am going to need practice.! there is no other explanation to it! i have had a sampler for about a week and I expect to be running the show! it aint gonna happen ! it can take a while im sure . So that's what all these questions were about, you trying to show your mpc who's boss?

If you had spent all this time experimenting on everything you read in the manual I think you would have gotten farther by now.

Spend more time experimenting.

cheers guys - I am sorry for all the posts! I have decided just to enjoy the luxery of having a MPC. I got a record collection going and ,.now im gonna shut up!

just remember, there are no rules. when i have trouble sampling-i turn off quantize -and listen to the drum pattern loop a few times -then play the chopps.-then if it doesn't sound right do it over or go into step edit and make small time adjustments or time strech a chop.
