Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By Assassin Fri Jun 02, 2006 4:35 pm
Can I export a track to a software such as Cubase using the USB port on the back of the MPC-2000?

The MPC 2000 does not have a USB port. Only the 1000, 4000 & 2500 does.

Well there is no way to but USB on the back of the mpc2000 but if u do get the mpc's above you cant just transfer your songs over you have to actually record them to cubase or re-sample the track so its now a .wav file that you can transfer over to Cubase.

Your question was just answered mane. The 2000/XL can not be built with a USB port, you would have to rebuild the mother board in the machine in order to do it.

If you want to use the USB transfer option go buy a MPC 1000, 4000, or 2500.
