The MPC 2000 does not have a USB port. Only the 1000, 4000 & 2500 does.

Well there is no way to but USB on the back of the mpc2000 but if u do get the mpc's above you cant just transfer your songs over you have to actually record them to cubase or re-sample the track so its now a .wav file that you can transfer over to Cubase.

Your question was just answered mane. The 2000/XL can not be built with a USB port, you would have to rebuild the mother board in the machine in order to do it.
If you want to use the USB transfer option go buy a MPC 1000, 4000, or 2500.

On a side note, will my 2000xl allow me to travel through time or see into the future?

Yes, yes it will. It should allow you see the black hole that gape opens when you stick your head up your rear-end.
