Yeah the MPC and Reason will be fine. Reason's not too CPU hungry so if you're only using it as a sound module it wont be too taxing.

Lastly, many on these board have stated you can get an MPC2500 for arounf $1500-$1600. I got mine for $1500.

thats not bad but i think i'll get it from http://vstservice.com/ and get all the extra **** instead of getting it later and spending more...or do u think if i bought each part later i could get it for less than $2099 if i were to find a 2500 at $1600?
I'm no expert on the pricing, but from what I read here, many have said they got maxed out systems for under the $2000 mark. I got mine for $1500 and the only thing I do not have is the CD drive (not really missing it). In total I paid 1580 because I bought my HD seperately from NewEgg
