OLD OS 3 beta bug list - SEE NEW

1)Turn on MPC
2)press MODE PAD11...
3) On the 1st screen, in OVERLAP...is it just me or does he have POLY as MONO and MONO as POLY...i play a sample in MONO and it overlaps, i play it in POLY mand it cancels out...wierd eh?

SWING ISSUE

1)Turn on Machine
2)Press TC
3)Notice 1/16 Nate value begin with a swing of 65

ok not sure what this is but... Ive loaded os3, played with it, and then switched back to 2.1.
Now a couple of times when ive been loading project after project, listening through, everything has gradualy turned into these weird, splodgy nonsense letters.
I cant explain better than that and i cant recreate it reliably but i didnt notice it happen before i tried the new os.

Maybe this is a bug ive just not run into before now but is seems worth mentioning.

Where is the link to download the os 3.06 beta?

1.Turn on

2.In save mode you can not go back to the root or a previous folder by pressing the left key.

3.You have to go in to load mode and choose wich folder you want to save in.

4.Then return to save mode and save.


Dont know if this is such a big problem but it kinda itched a litle...

1. Go to Song mode
2. Press Convert
3. Unused sequences don't have numbers (they're all 00)
No big deal, but also no big deal to fix it, I guess.

Soyo: You can go back in save mode, you have to select the top folder and then press up instead of left.

It's such a strange bug that i'm probably doing something wrong, but here goes :

1. go to the load page, load in a directory of samples (about 15 single hits)
2. go to program page
3. turn wheel to change assigned sample : only the first 3-4 samples appear, but the list is circular (it goes back to the top after 3-4 samples)

So I can't see all my samples in the program page!

When I reload the sample, it says that it's allready in memory

well, last night i really wanted to finish this beat up so i tried.

i got the directory error while saving 2 times.

i was having major trouble assigning my sample to a pad. It wouldn't display the sample in program mode. it would just loop the last three file names over and over.

basically it annoyed me enough to want to put the old one back on as soon as i get home.

let me know how it ends up. because it was really pissing me off last night.

Anyone else have this?

I remember a similar 'sample select cycle' bug back in 2004 on an early OS.
After editing some samples you would only be able to select the samples before the edited one.
But the WAkai Down-syndrome programmers were able to fix that so i'm confident the Japanese messiah will too.

i have installed the last (6) beta version midi sync does not work with ableton live...i reinstalled v 2.1 and it worked fine....i thought it was fixed...anyone???

midi bug

1) mpc only midi sync as slave not as master.
2) when synced, play led will not appear, instead it appears after the first cycle.
