New Folder errors

I keep getting directory errors when I try to save, but if I try again it seems to work fine. However, last night I got some system errors but only when I tried to create a new folder. I hooked the MPC up to my PC through USB but it wouldn't let me create any folders that way either. Luckily I had a folder that was filled with stuff I didn't want so I could just save over that. I turned the MPC off and on about 3 or 4 times but it still wont let me create a folder.

Anybody else experienced this at all?

i belive these were disscused before .i suggest to try doing a search when no one responds.if not read the thread i started below peace

Not like this though... I would reformat my CF card if I had this problem.

Yeah I'm gonna try backing it all up to my PC and then reformatting the CF card when I get back to the 'studio'. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this

I get it on my hardrive , it seems to save ok the second time , so i can put up eith it . Theres no way i wanna format my hardrive everyhting is on it .

So I backed up everything to my PC and then formatted the compact flash card. Seems to be working fine now, although I haven't had a chance to give it a real working out.
