ckrename - batch file renamer.
Deal with it.
No.
Not to your mpc though.
0123456789abcdef - figure it out and you'll have a resolutional option/optional resolution?!?!
dont mean to be rude man but why did you bother answering this topic if it was to give me some **** answers like this???
to everyone else : thanks I didn't know about such apps, i'll check it out
a question though : why doesnt the mpc handle longer filenames?
I'm not trying to be rude, I'm givin you str8 answers and not beating around the bush. I answered every one of your questions and even told you of a renaming program. There is NOTHING you can do about the 16 character filename limitation, you will jsut have to deal with it, not being rude but that's how it is. Renaming works fine if you get into it and see what's it's about. You trying to figure out WHY the mpc can't do more is not going to help you all that will do is frustrate you more cause that's all the format can do, it's a limitation of the format, period.
Sometimes you can't have what you want (forums answers, file name lengths, etc.) and you gotta find a way around it and/or know when to bow out gracefully. They told you the same shyt I told you but you thank them, getting around me like I didn't even answer.
THAT is rude ya know.
