it isn't really a good point. what's stopping you from reinstalling an akai os before you call/send it in?
that is if you cant figure out what's wrong for yourself, and at this point in my interaction with the mpc, if i were ever to have a serious problem (a tiger came in and pissed on my mpc), it wouldn't be akai i would call, it'd be VST for a replacement board or w/e needed fixing.
You are difficult aint ya Antonym. Im in the UK so I think that VST is a US service center. The Akai customer base does stretch outta the insular U S of Hoo har.
But I get your point about loading n unloadin OS's. So I deduce from what you said that Akai wouldn't support the JJ OS.
Dont get me wrong - Im all for open source, just wish that I could have the OPTION.
