Abu,
The timing correct feature on the MPC does not work on incoming analog signals (sounds). It will only work with MIDI and DRUM start times that it stores in its internal sequencer. So if you really want to play a bassline on the keyboard, use the timing correct feature of the MPC, and record a single bassline on to the MPC that you can play back using a single pad, you must record your MIDI performance data from the keyboard onto the MPC - then use the MPC to playback the sounds on the keyboard, and at the same time use the MPC to record the actual sounds. Complicated, but possible!
1) connect the midi out of the keyboard to the midi in of the MPC. Also connect the midi out of the MPC to the MIDI in of the keyboard.
2) Set up the MPC to receive MIDI data from the keyboard, set up a track with type MIDI and select the appropriate MIDI channel.
3) Start recording on the MPC using the rec/play buttons, and then play your bassline on the computer. When you're done, hit the play button on the MPC. If you have the channel of the track set up correctly, it should begin playing back your performance using the sequencing from the MPC and the sounds from your keyboard.
4) Connect the analog out of the keyboard to the record in of the MPC, choose MODE:Record on the MPC, and record the actual sounds being played back by the keyboard. Trim the beginning and ends, assign the sample to a pad, and there you go.
