Making a short sound like a highhat automatically repeat by looping it in the trim/loop section is a real backwards way to work. You not only have to insert silence and then make a new sample to make it the length you want to repeat at, but then f*** with that back and forth until you get the correct length. And since you have to trial and error that in a sequence anyway, it would be much faster to use the machine like it's meant to be used. Which is of course, just make a sequence with the tempo you want, and then tap the pad you assigned the sample to. Then when you press play, its' repeating when and where you want it to. In the time it took you to read my rediculously long post, you could have laid that high hat already. Jesus christ.
