you can always, cursor to the type of event at the top and select only the type of evnt u want to see, ie:all events, notes, or realtime etc...
if that helps any.

i think you're misunderstanding.
no matter what "View" you have selected, it will show every event for a track regardless of the step it's triggered on. changing the view only filters by the type of event.
with the 2000xl, it only showed events in the current step rather than having a long page with all events in the track.
this is what the all events screen looks like on the 2500:
001.01.00 View:ALL EVENTS
001.01.00 P:A03( 42)T: 0 D: 8 V:127
001.01.48 P:A03( 42)T: 0 D: 8 V:127
001.02.00 P:A03( 42)T: 0 D: 8 V:127
001.02.48 P:A03( 42)T: 0 D: 8 V:127
notice how you see 4 events, but each event is triggered on a different step? i would like to see something like this:
001.01.00 View:ALL EVENTS
001.01.00 P:A03( 42)T: 0 D: 8 V:127
and then if you move two steps you'd see this:
001.01.48 View:ALL EVENTS
001.01.48 P:A03( 42)T: 0 D: 8 V:127
two more steps and you'd see this:
001.02.00 View:ALL EVENTS
001.02.00 P:A03( 42)T: 0 D: 8 V:127
see how each of those screens only shows the events triggered in the current step rather than showing all events in the track? it would be so much easier to work with that way.
maybe an option can just be added to the Step Edit Options window to filter the view by the current step so only events triggered in the current step are shown.
