What?!?!?!?! You bugging dog. The X is the fastest and easiest sampler out there. Samples sound way better than they sound if you sample them into an MPC (any MPC). My ASR-X sounds better than my MPC 3000, its not even close. And the filters on the X are bananas! The sampling engine is THE reason people get ASRs to go with their MPCs.

Very little difference between them, the major difference is the max RAM, everything else is little stuff like Stomper and decimal tempos in the sequencer. The black one looks better. But if you gonna et a black one, make sure it has OS 2.67 and SCSI installed.
