Sync with Pro Tools ?

How do i sync my mpc 2500 wit pro tools?

I just got my mpc 2500 yesterday and I found out how to do that by reading both manuals. In the pro tools reference guide (not quick start) and in the mpc manual just look up Midi Clock (mpc) and Midi Beat Clock (pt)

What... you don't have the manual? In the mpc manual it might be on page 53 or somewhere around there I dont have it with me right now.

i dont see "MIDI Clock" anywere..

In the very first sentence it talks about MIDI clock already.

oo its on the "Note:" BUT I DONT FIND MIDI CLOCK ANYWERE ON MY MPC ..i went to sync and i dont see shyt ... im starting to think i never really needed a mpc NO CHOPPING FREEDOM...i like to chop shyt my own way .. this iz auto chop ..suxx

Why are you talking about chopping now? You can chop shit like you want to. Just read the manual on how it's done.

Really, take your time and read the manual through once, and try out what it says with your machine next to you. It will save you from a lot of questions.

ok i read P.52 Sync with the MPC2500 as the slave .....
04.Select the "Sync in" field and select the inputof the MIDI clock.

My sync in is 2 cuz iz connected to IN 2

06.Set the external MIDI device to send out the MIDI clock


I dont see MIDI CLOCK ON PROTOOLS OR ON THE MPC (SOOO FUSTRATED)
on step 7 it sshows that the tempo sopose to say (ext) i cant do dat omg some one make a vid ..

im using a pc runing windows media center iz diz the proble wit protools cuz for sum reason i think my MBOX 2 iz not working right im just so fustrated
