I just got my mpc 2500 yesterday and I found out how to do that by reading both manuals. In the pro tools reference guide (not quick start) and in the mpc manual just look up Midi Clock (mpc) and Midi Beat Clock (pt)

BUT I DONT FIND MIDI CLOCK ANYWERE ON MY MPC ..i went to sync and i dont see shyt ... im starting to think i never really needed a mpc

ok i read P.52 Sync with the MPC2500 as the slave .....
04.Select the "Sync in" field and select the inputof the MIDI clock.
My sync in is 2 cuz iz connected to IN 2
06.Set the external MIDI device to send out the MIDI clock
I dont see MIDI CLOCK ON PROTOOLS OR ON THE MPC (SOOO FUSTRATED)
on step 7 it sshows that the tempo sopose to say (ext) i cant do dat

im using a pc runing windows media center iz diz the proble wit protools cuz for sum reason i think my MBOX 2 iz not working right im just so fustrated
