I have the opportunity to get a 2000 this week. Should I buy it or hold off and get the 2500 in the next month or two? What do you guys think?

Why jump on a 2kxl just to find out you'll be lusting for a 2500. But like some mentioned, if it's your first MPC, the 2500 just may be a little overkill for you for now. My first MPC is what I currently have, a 4k. But I have other samplers & drum machines that helped me make that decision...which I don't regret.
