If u want a good audio interface for ur laptop.. then instead of usb or fire wire maybe u should concider this.....

Real dope, would hook u up nice.. zero latency monitoring, depending on ur computer speed u can record with real low buffer settings (my pc is sh!t and i record with only 2milli seconds delay, which I havent seen on alot of systems).
U also got real dope dsp effects as the interface has dsp chip, and the patchmix application is so dope i couldnt explain, I really like my emu card wouldnt change it for long time if at all.. is perfect for what I do.
