Setting up MPC2000XL to be controller for Logic Pro 7.1

Greetings All,

I know this is probably a crazy question, but since I don't load sounds into my MPC anymore, I need this answered. I have Logic Pro 7.1 and Reason 3.0. I have no problem triggering Reason sounds with my MPC but I can't seem to get it right for Logic Pro. I know I can use Rewire and trigger sounds in Reason and record in Logic but that's not what I want to do. I want a DIRECT connection between Logic and my MPC.

Can anyone help me with this?

It helped me sync my homie's 2000 XL with Logic Express. And check your midi connection and check your midi menu in preferences.
