i have an s950 so i know what keygroups are. they're used to map samples across a range of keys on a keyboard.
the mpc does not have a keyboard, but you can accomplish something similar by assigning your samples to pads, and using the 16 levels of tuning on each pad individually as i suggested earlier, or even by assigning the same samples to multiple pads and adjusting their tuning as Antonym suggested (without having to use 16 levels).
