Yeah, because I tried to get a line in through the phono jacks, put the switch on line in and it's a no go. It works perfectly fine connecting a turntable directly and putting the switch on phone though. I did see in the manual that it said to connect ONLY a turntable to the phono jacks, but I can't flowers believe it.
It did say this in the manual regarding the REC IN XLR jacks: "Mics or line level devices such as CD players can be connected to these jacks. Either XLR or phone plugs can be connected"
How are phone plugs to be connected to those? The only way I can see is if I get an adapter or cable that goes XLR to phono.
I'm not stupid, but this just threw me off. I've never owned or used anything with an XLR jack. Well it looks like I'm going to have to make a trip to radioshack tomorrow...damn!
