Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Thanks Eric Sokol. Maybe you can help me with one more problem. I've got the RCA dual mono 1/4 in cable but can't hear anything from when I'm on sample mode on the mpc. Any advice?

im guessing u mean u got a turn table hooked directly to the mpc? if so you might need to hook it up to a mixer.. try turning the theshold to 0 and turning the rec gain up if not it might be the cables

you dont have to use a mixer, there are even small boxes for sale you can put your cinch cable in and get a amplified signal out at the other side.this device has no knob or fader to change the volume it just amplifies the signal.the trim should be done in your mpc.might cost about 15 dollars....

should questions like these be banned from a forum for technical questions????
this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo basic....basic as f&%$§§$%

Ok...... For my and everyone elses sanity....

This Thread should be CLOSED.

1. If you are running PHONO OUTS, then you need a preamp. Or a MIXER that will do the same thing.

2. If you are running a table that has LINE LEVEL outs, then go straight to your RECORD IN jacks.

3. If you don't use a MIXER or LINE OUT TURNTABLE, then you need a standalone PHONO PRE-AMP.

4. If you ask any more ridiculous questions like this again, I will start a petition to have you mocked from every angle possible, for the remainder of your life as a forum member...

I appreciate the naivety of your question, however, this is hardly a relevant question. do some homework buddy, and save the rest of us the stress of reading and answering amazingly simple shit.

Peace
