i found a couple videos but it wasnt helpful. this is what i have

midi out from mpc into midi in from pc

midi in from pc into midi out from mpc

midi out from midi control into midi in of mpc.

seem to me your midi is correct now you need to go inside reason and find the midi port so that the mpc can talk to reason then turn off the sounds on the mp and you should be good to go! :wink:

yeah i watched it. the pads work now. but my keyboard doesnt work with the mpc.

with your keyboard usb'd into your computer, take a midi cable and run it from the midi out of the keyboard to the midi in on the mpc.

I get the midi set up but sparq just posted that we can also plug the keyboard USB to the PC and have 1 midi cable from mpc to keyboard and this will work with reason ? Is that right ?
