Can you adjust the velocity of the pads? Besides the 100 to 200 percent function. When I strike a pad the velocity wont go below 10!

i don't think normalizing s gonna help you! it will just make your samples louder! try to mess instead of that with program modulation! lots of crazy things goin on there! for example to reduce the loudness of your sounds you could set velocity (m source) to modulate your amplitude (m dest)!
good luck
btw: if all samples are too loud also check your master level setting in global page! well, i have it at 0 db (maximum)! not too loud for me, maybe in your setup it could be ... dunno just an idea! but before reducing that check first the levels at your mixer! ... and first of all i'd try with program modulation!

... but don't diss the beautyful prog modulation window!its one of the best ones within the 4k and i have a question to it right away
well the problem is i simply don't understand two mod. sources: tilt velo and off velocity! haven't found an explanation in the manual as well as in hte ref. manual! wtf do they mean?
i often use them, and on some programs they are preset anyway! it would just be nice to know what i use there! probably for each native english the terms explain themselves! well, off velocity i guess is the opposite of velocity, isn't it (somethin like how strong/fast one leaves the pads?) and tilt for me is a term used for describing the physical/mental situation after a bottle of vodka and some spliffs! now what should that mean for my prog modulation?![]()
please could someone translate or put it down for me?
thanx in advance
