Yeah i already sent bug report to jj today when i noticed this only happens in main screen. While in grid-edit mode this doesn't happen.
Also what is weird is that high notes are out of range, meaning that i can't play same high-notes with pads, since they go up to like c6. In a way this is productive bug since it adds some randomness into composition 
what you will find, is you are recording using a DRUM track
thats where the random notes your seeing are happening.- you have to switch it to MIDI
unfortunately then you will find your high notes are not recording note offs.
yeah - at first wasn't sure if it was the same thing i was getting . anyway, sent a bug report yesterday.

not sure if he will correct this problem in the DRUM track - seeing as your s posed to use MIDI -
therefore the randomness thing may stay -
so if you want you can use it creatively .
lets see what he doe's in the next update.
