So you adjust velo>start = 85-100 somewhere and then velo>level = 0 and turn on 16 levels of velocity.
This works, all you need to remember is to have it set to note off and you've got a quick, non destructive chop.

However it seems hard (impossible even?) to get the spread even with 16 levels on. It seems more exponential, with less and less space between each start point the higher the pad is.
what would be cool is if you could put a copy of the sample on all the pads, then assign your own velocity to that pad (ie assign a start point). Is there any way of doing this?
