youre talking about creative commons. i think. i just got my Tapeop so i have not read it yet but i knew about them from earlier. But this is a whole another thing i think. If you chop the chord in the beggining of "a hard days night" and change the chord and alter it in melodyne by introducing would it still be beatles? this is not your regular mpc sample manipulation this thing can change everything in a sample. will be intressting to see what this does.

So, you wouldn't care if another producer took one of your beats, and just changed the tempo, pitch, or whatever and then resold it as their own beat?

I love sampling, but I'm not naive to what it really is.


As for the new program, it's definitely pretty cool. I already use Melodyne for vocal editing, and running my samples through...its really a great program with tons of options..and this will just be another cool one to really change those samples

im wit this right here. too much to mess with, it would take me months to make a beat with all the changes you could make. definitely cool software though, major stride.

Isolating audio has been the most sought after thing to be able to do in sampling. This will finally end all of the "how can I take vocals from a sample?" threads. No more filtering and eqing samples to eliminate parts.
