Is their anyway to sample while the sequencer is running ala asr10.

you don't even need to use an audio track - you can just do it from the regular RECORD screen
I do it all the time to record synth parts -- and I find that the normal record screen (with loop set to OFF temporarily) works far better than audio tracks, as it allows you to record the tail end of the sample instead of just cutting off when the sequence ends as it does in audio tracks
lets you get a much better sounding loop
