I understand the debate but hesitate to get the fix for a working PAD. But then again, i purchased a blue screen when my green screen was/is perfectly fine. For me I wanted to [enhance] my MPC and the PADs would have been the way to go... but my beats a loud without compression and EQ. I don't know.... I would like to think that my sampling abilities is having an effect here because I do try to get the best sound out of each sample I create.
I forgot to elaborate on the last message. If you take your MPC top panel off and see you have [separate] PADs then you have the OLD PADs. I believe if you have a black [back] panel where your I/O are, you have new PADs....
