The 2500 pads is "full size". The 1000 pads is same size as the 500 pads. But is it the same on the inside?

according to nick at vst, the "soft" rubber myth is more so derived from the rubber aging, hence the older models being said to have softer pads.

I think i would try to make a mold of the original mpc-500 pads, and then make some softer pads in latex. That should be soft enough ;-)

Hey, all...

I don't know if I am hella late in responding to this post, but this should be a non-issue after finding the following topic:

It looks like the 500 has FSRs so it would be best to follow NYM's sensitivity setting instructions.

Is there a way to currently follow his sensitivity instructions? Or is this a future software update?
