I'm mixing on ns-10's. So my mix is pure, i was just thinking about this topic, nada mean.

NS-10's suck they cant produce anything below 50hz (even if they say they can the speaker cone is not good enough to make that transient) if you want a super sick kick sound you will set a HPF at 50hz (where the mud is) then spike 30hz (where the meat is) and you cant hear this move on NS-10's (FYI)
the only reason you find NS-10's in studios is because some big producer in the 80's wanted to mix on speakers (bookshelf style) that most consumers listen to, well now days everyone listens to music either in the car or on a computer speaker system that usually comes with a sub to make up for lost Low Fq in the larger speakers (usually 4''-6''), and the sub is most likely ported and have a 70Hz boost so you should keep that in mind when mixing. All in All NS-10's look good (white/black) they just dont do the job they are used to do.
