I consistently use real time pitch, and jjs simultaneous sequence. Don't get rid of those.

Antonym wrote:guys, i just had a good idea that i think might really do some nice things for people who like patch phrase and people who like chopped samples.
what if the 2 become combined? in doing so, jj can remove the code needed to do PP, and instead, do this:
1 - load sample
2 - chop sample
3 - PROMPT: place in track
4 - sample is inserted into the track as chopped
explanation: each sample note is placed into your sequence plays in sequential order, estimated to the nearest tick of when it would have played originally.
this would be as if you entered the sample manually after chopping - just both extremely accurate AND faster. it'd also be the same as a patched phrase with a lot more individual control, wouldn't it?
opinions?
Antonym wrote:yeah - it'd be in the sequencer instead. much more powerful.
